Experience
Susanne has extensive information experience working with children, youth, parents and adults dealing with challenges in their lives.

She is skilled in creating a safe space where people feel heard, receive empathy and feel understood. She has the skills and experience to help people overcome past trauma, resolve difficult relationships and work towards building the life they want to live.

Susanne has a warm, compassionate and genuine style. She helps people build strong relationships with the people they care about and believes that getting there comes through understanding ourselves.

Susanne is a parent of two teenagers, and runs parent groups that equip parents with the confidence to navigate the complex challenges that come with all families.

Training
Susanne is a counsellor with extensive experience and training, which includes Dialectic Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Emotion Focused Family Therapy, Radically Open Dialectic Behaviour Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprogramming (EMDR), as well as others. She has experience working with folks with eating disorders. Susanne has a Master in Social Work and is a Registered Social Worker from the BC College of Social Workers.

Interests
Susanne is a parent of two rapidly growing boys and hopes to one day have a vegetable garden up to the task of feeding them. She also enjoys baking bread, knitting sweaters and experiencing the adrenaline rush of a good long run.

Services
